The SharePoint Experience

Why just learn when you can experience?

Launch of the SharePoint Experience Blog

Our cup runneth over

SharePoint Experts is thrilled to announce the launch of the SharePoint Experience blog. Course instructors Dustin Miller and Heather Solomon have teamed up to provide you with a SharePoint 2010 blog with a special focus on web development and web design.

It is so much more than “Hello world!”

No need to tell you about a new blog site unless it has useful content to share right away. Featured with the blog launch:

SharePoint 2010 CSS Chart

Following in the footsteps of Heather Solomon’s popular CSS chart for 2007, the 2010 version provides just as much information and functionality in a slick new interface.

SharePoint 2010 “Just the Essentials” Master Pages

It is called “Just the Essentials” because it provides you with a blank canvas on which to build your custom SharePoint master page. Heavily commented and filled with info, these are solid foundation files to start your custom branding. Publishing and non-publishing versions provided. This is the 2010 version of Heather Solomon’s Base Master Pages for SharePoint 2007.

SharePoint 2010 Intelligent V4 Master Page

Why is it smart? Because it is full of comments telling you what the components are. A copy of V4.master with code fixes and comments galore, this is a great file to use if you want to keep V4.master but also want know what the heck everything is in the file.
